Fitch rates Bank of Montreal notes AA-

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed all ratings of Bank of Montreal and also assigned an AA- to BMO's senior medium-term notes.

The outlook is stable.

The affirmation reflects BMO's good capitalization, diverse franchise and sound financial fundamentals, the agency said adding that the ratings also benefit from Canada's strong economic and regulatory environment, as well as a stable domestic banking market.
