New Issue: Banco de Mexico auctions Ps. 8.75 billion of bonds in two tranches

Tacoma, Wash., April 18 - Banco de Mexico sold Ps. 8.75 billion of bonds in an auction on Monday.

The bank accepted bids for Ps. 1.25 billion of Bondes D with a term of 1,779 days. The bonds priced at 99.06031 for a "sobretasa" spread of 21 basis points. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 5.8 billion.

The bank also accepted bids for Ps. 7.5 billion of 6½% Bonos 10A due June 2021. The bonds priced at 94.41364 to yield 7.28%. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 17.29 billion.
