S&P ups Colombia bank to positive

Standard & Poor's said it revised the outlook on Banco de Comercio Exterior de Colombia SA, the Republic of Colombia's state-owned development bank, to positive from stable. The agency also said it affirmed its BB+ long-term foreign-currency rating.

The outlook revision follows a similar change to the outlook on Colombia, S&P said.

The agency said it believes the bank has a very strong link with Colombia and fulfills a very important role in the sovereign's economic development strategy, S&P said.
