Thailand’s AEON Thana Sinsap to offer up to $70 million debentures

Morgantown, W.Va., Dec. 22 – AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) PCL announced an offering of up to $70 million of unsubordinated debentures.

The debentures will have a term of up to five years.

Shareholders had approved the issuance of up to 8 billion baht equivalent of dollar-, yen- or baht-denominated unsubordinated debentures at a meeting held on June 12, 2014.

The company’s board of directors already approved 5.5 billion baht of issuances that the company has partially completed. Currently, the company has a remaining balance of 2.5 billion baht (equivalent to $70 million).

Proceeds from the latest proposed dollar-denominated bonds will be used for refinancing or general working capital.
