Prospect News reports one new default for week of Nov. 12-Nov. 18

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 20 – Prospect News reported one new default for the week of Nov. 12 through Nov. 18.

Specifically, Prospect News reported a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing made by Gulfport Energy Corp.

Prospect News also reported a missed interest payment on Audley Funding plc’s 6% 20-year series 2016-CI1 notes, but the company had already defaulted with missed interest payments for the notes on May 15, Nov. 15, 2019 and May 15, 2019.

So far in 2020, Prospect News has reported 279 defaults, including 200 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, 30 missed interest payments, 12 Chapter 15 bankruptcy filings, six each of missed principal payments and CCAA filings, four each of Chapter 7 filings and missed payments, three each of missed interest and principal payments and defaults, two each of administrations, CBCA filings and scheme of arrangement proceedings and one each of distressed exchanges, reorganizations, appointments of receivers and Danish Section 11b filings.

Gulfport Energy listed over $1 billion in both assets and liabilities in its petition.
