New Issue: Hong Kong’s AMTD issues $200 million more 5% notes due March 2022

Chicago, Feb. 22 – AMTD Group Co. Ltd. issued an additional $200 million of 5% senior notes due March 8, 2022, according to a pricing supplement.

The new notes are to be consolidated and will form a single series with the $18,285,000 notes issued on March 8, 2019 (ISIN: XS1957476952).

The notes were issued at par.

AMTD Global Markets Ltd. was the dealer for the Regulation S notes.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes and the refinancing of existing debt.

Of special note, AMTD has already solicited consent for the entire series of notes to move the maturity date. The deadline for voting instructions is 11 a.m. ET on Feb. 25.

The financial institution is based in Hong Kong.
