Argentina’s AySA outlines agenda for upcoming noteholder meeting

Chicago, Nov. 28 – Agua y Saneamientos Argentinos SA (AySA) outlined the agenda for the extraordinary general meeting of noteholders that will be held on Dec. 16 relating to the company’s $500 million outstanding 6 5/8% senior notes due 2023 (ISIN: XS1763161012), according to a press release.

The meeting will be held at the company’s corporate offices in Buenos Aires.

Noteholders will be asked to approve and sign the holders’ meeting minutes.

Second, noteholders will be asked to appoint a chairman of the holders’ meeting.

Then, the holders will be asked to eliminate the section relating to events of default in the indenture and execute the documents for the implementation of the amendments.

A copy of the draft amendment can be obtained from the company (informacionpublica@aysa.com.ar).

The meeting was earlier announced when the company started an exchange offer and consent solicitation for the notes.

The offer and solicitation expire at 11:59 p.m. ET on Dec. 19.

The company is the largest water utility in Argentina and majority owned by the republic.
