Alfred Angelo, subsidiaries file Chapter 7 bankruptcy for liquidation

Pittsburgh, July 14 – Alfred Angelo Newco., Inc. and several subsidiaries filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy on Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Chapter 7 bankruptcy is used for liquidation. Margaret J. Smith has been appointed as Alfred Angelo’s Chapter 7 trustee.

According to court documents, Alfred Angelo has $10 million to $50 million in assets and $10 million to $50 million in debt.

Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, PA is acting as counsel for the company and Development Specialists, Inc. as financial consultant.

Alfred Angelo is a Palm Beach, Fla.-based bridal retailer. The Chapter 7 case number is 17-18864.
