New Issue: Akmola, Kazakhstan, places KZT 1.16 billion 0.35% two-year bonds

Los Angeles, March 17 – The local executive body of the Akmola region of Kazakhstan placed KZT 1,163,729,000 of 0.35% two-year debt securities at a special trading session held on Monday, according to a Kazakhstan Stock Exchange announcement.
The amount issued represents 100% of the issuer’s planned placement.
These bonds were issued for financing housing construction as part of implementation of state and government programs, the issuer said.
