Adelphia files further revised draft to fifth amended plan of reorganization

New York, Oct. 11 - Adelphia Communications Corp. filed a further revised draft of its fifth amended plan of reorganization.

The company said it plans to file a revised supplement to its fourth amended disclosure statement, according to a company news release.

The latest revisions reflect the global settlement reached by Adelphia, its official committee of unsecured creditors, several ad hoc committees and significant individual bond funds.

Adelphia, a Greenwood Village, Colo.-based cable operator, filed for bankruptcy on June 25, 2002. Its Chapter 11 case number is 02-41729.
