D.K. Acquisition buys partial $7.5 million claim against Adelphia

Pittsburgh, Oct. 14 - D.K. Acquisition Partners, LP bought a $7.5 million portion of Bear Stearns & Co., Inc.'s $27.15 million claim against Adelphia Communications Corp., according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Bear Stearns had purchased the partial claim from SPCP Group LLC. Turner Network Television LP, LLLP originally assigned the claim to SPCP.

Adelphia, a Greenwood Village, Colo., cable television company, filed for bankruptcy on June 25, 2002. Its Chapter 11 case number is 02-41729.
