S&P rates Atmos notes BBB+
Standard & Poor's said it assigned a BBB+ issue-level rating to Atmos Energy Corp.'s proposed $400 million of senior notes due 2041.
The corporation intends to use the proceeds from this to repay all outstanding commercial paper borrowings, to fund capital expenditures and for general corporate purposes.
The corporate credit rating on Atmos is BBB+ and the outlook is stable.
