S&P: Analog Devices notes A-

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A- rating to Analog Devices Inc.'s new $500 million 10-year senior unsecured notes.

The agency also said it affirmed the company's existing A- corporate credit rating and A-2 short-term rating.

The corporate credit rating reflects an expectation that the company's good market position in the analog semiconductor segment, conservative balance sheet and consistent profitability and cash flows will enable it to maintain strong liquidity and low leverage, despite a highly competitive and cyclical industry, S&P said.

The company's minimal financial risk profile is a key support for the rating given the assessment of the business profile as satisfactory, the agency said.

The company benefits from stable market share, a diversified customer base and consistent profitability despite challenging market conditions, S&P added.
