Ampex expects to exit bankruptcy on Sept. 30

Pittsburgh, Sept. 10 - Ampex Corp. expects to emerge from bankruptcy on Sept. 30, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
As previously reported, Ampex's plan of reorganization was confirmed on July 31.
The company said it has resolved a majority of its claims and is working to resolve the remaining claims.
Ampex, a Redwood City, Calif., technology licensing company, made a pre-packaged bankruptcy filing on March 30. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-11094.
