Ames True Temper to price $150 million seven-year floater early Jan. 10 week

St. Louis, Jan. 7 - Ames True Temper Inc. plans to price $150 million of seven-year senior floating-rate notes (B) early in the week of Jan. 10, according to an informed source.

An investor conference call was held Dec. 31.

The notes will be non-callable for two years.

Banc of America Securities LLC and Credit Suisse First Boston are joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A offering.

Proceeds will be used to repay the company's term loan.

Ames True Temper is a Camp Hill, Pa.-based manufacturer and marketer of non-powered lawn and garden tools and accessories.
