Moody's rates America Movil notes A2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned A2 ratings to America Movil, SAB de CV's CHF 230 million of 2.25% Swiss senior notes due 2015.

The outlook is stable.

Proceeds from the notes will be used for general corporate purposes.

America Movil's ratings are supported by the company's status as Mexico's largest wireless operator with market share of around 70%, its number one position as regional mobile telecom service provider in Latin America, the strong operating cash flow and its relatively low leverage, the agency said.

The debt-to-EBITDA ratio for the last 12 months ended March 31 is 1.3 times.
