Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 3- Almaden Minerals Ltd. said it plans a C$2.6 million non-brokered private placement of units.
The company will sell 3.06 million units at C$0.85 apiece. Each unit consists of one common share and one half-share warrant. Each whole two-year warrant will be exercisable at C$1.40.
Proceeds will be used to strengthen Almaden's treasury and for future prospect generation expenditures.
Based in Vancouver, B.C., Almaden is a mineral explorer.
