Province of Alberta announces plans to conduct offering of bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 1 – The Province of Alberta in Canada intends to offer bonds, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The bonds may be called at par.

Proceeds will be used for general government purposes.
