Moody's lifts Alaska Communications view to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed the B1 corporate family rating and B1 senior secured rating of Alaska Communications Systems Holdings, Inc. and changed the outlook to stable from negative.

The outlook change to stable reflects Moody's expectation that the company is likely to stop consuming cash (cash from operations less capital expenditure less dividends) beginning in 2007 as it completes its growth capital expenditure programs, but that further improvement in free cash flow is unlikely in our view given the company's ongoing sizeable dividend levels relative to operating cash flows.
