S&P drops Akorn to D

S&P said it downgraded the ratings on Akorn Inc. and its senior secured term loan to D from CC.

“The downgrade reflects Akorn's Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, which it previously negotiated with its lenders as part of the standstill agreement,” S&P said in a press release.
