AIA Group launches $12 billion medium-term note, securities program

Buffalo, N.Y., March 15 – AIA Group Ltd. has established a new $12 billion global medium-term note and securities program, according to an announcement with an appended offering circular on Tuesday.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the arranger for the program and also a dealer along with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd., BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole CIB, Deutsche Bank AG, Singapore Branch, Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC, HSBC Ltd., Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc, MUFG Securities EMEA plc, Standard Chartered Bank and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC.

Under the Regulation S and Rule 144A program, instruments will be issued on a syndicated and non-syndicated basis for up to one year from the March 14 offering circular date.

Application has been made to list the program on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd.

AIA is a pan-Asian life insurance group based in Hong Kong.
