Affiliated Computer to draw on existing facility for CompIQ purchase

New York, April 28 - Affiliated Computer Services Inc. plans to use borrowings under its existing credit facility, along with cash on hand, to fund the acquisition of CompIQ Corp., according to a news release.

Affiliated Computer is buying the Irvine, Calif.-based provider of workers' compensation claims review, re-pricing and software services for $22 million, plus contingent payments based on future financial performance.

The acquisition is expected to close in May, subject to customary conditions.

Affiliated Computer is a Dallas-based provider of business process outsourcing and information technology services to commercial and government clients.
