S&P gives Meriter Hospital, Wis., bonds AAA/A-1+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its AAA/A-1+ rating and A+ underlying rating to Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority's series 2008A, 2008B and 2008C adjustable-rate revenue bonds issued for Meriter Hospital Inc.

The $87.09 million of series 2008A to C bonds are due Dec. 1, 2035.

The outlook is stable.

At the same time, S&P said it affirmed its A+ underlying rating on Meriter's series 2006A, 2006B and 2006C auction-rate securities issued by the authority.
