Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 23 - West African Diamonds plc said it has raised £1.74 million in a private placement of shares.
The company sold 17.4 million ordinary shares at 10p per share.
Dublin, Ireland-based West African Diamonds is a diamond exploration company.
