New Issue: Wachovia prices $350 million add on to 5.75% notes at 98.91 to yield 5.897%

New York, Sept. 13 - Wachovia Corp. priced a further $350 million of notes due June 15, 2017 at 98.91 to yield 5.897%, according to an FWP with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes have a coupon of 5.75%.
The issuance brings the total size of the deal to $1.7 billion.
The bookrunner on the deal was Wachovia Capital Markets, LLC. Samuel A. Ramirez & Co., Inc. and Utendahl Capital Partners, LP were the co-managers.
