Verizon to redeem all 2.625% notes due 2020, 3.5% notes due 2021

Morgantown, W.Va., April 4 – Verizon Communications Inc. announced it will redeem its $830,671,000 outstanding 2.625% notes due 2020 and $736,002,000 outstanding 3.5% notes due 2021 in full on May 6.

The redemption price is based on a make-whole premium of 15 basis points for the 2020 notes and 25 bps for the 2021 notes and will also include accrued interest to but excluding the redemption date.

Verizon is a New York-based telecommunications company.
