Union Electric/Ameren Missouri pricing $250 million 30-year notes; pricing Tuesday

Virginia Beach, March 31 – Union Electric Co., doing business as Ameren Missouri Co., is planning to sell a $250 million offering of 30-year senior secured notes on Tuesday, according to a market source and a 424B3 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
MUFG, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, RBC Capital Markets LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the joint bookrunners.
Co-managers are Goldman Sachs & Co., SMBC Nikko, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc., TD Securities (USA) Inc., Blaylock Beal Van LLC and C.L. King & Associates.
The notes will be secured by a series of the company’s first mortgage bonds.
Proceeds will be used to repay a portion of the company’s short-term debt.
The public utility holding company and unit of Ameren Corp. is based in St. Louis.
