Carlyle Global Market Strategies CLO 2012-4 to refinance notes

Olympia, Wash., March 25 – Carlyle Global Market Strategies CLO 2012-4, Ltd./Carlyle Global Market Strategies CLO 2012-4, LLC received direction from holders representing at least a supermajority of its subordinated notes to redeem all of its secured notes through a refinancing on April 22, according to a notice.

The class A-R, B-R, C-1-R, C-2-R, D-R and E-R notes will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Carlyle plans to issue replacement notes, the proceeds of which will be used for the redemption. The $61,547,000 of subordinated notes will remain outstanding following the refinancing.

State Street Bank and Trust Co. is the trustee.

Washington, D.C.-based Carlyle Investment Management LLC is the collateral manager.
