Russia’s Federal Grid adjourns 8.446% noteholder meeting to Sept. 5

Tacoma, Wash., Aug. 23 – Federal Grid Finance Designated Activity Co. said the meeting of its noteholders on Aug. 22 was not quorate and has been adjourned until Sept. 5.

The company is seeking consents from the holders of its RUB 17.5 billion 8.446% loan participation notes due 2019 to replace Deutsche Trustee Co. Ltd., Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, Deutsche Bank Trust Co. Americas and Deutsche Bank Luxembourg SA in their various capacities under the notes with BNY Mellon Corporate Trustee Services Ltd., Bank of New York Mellon, London Branch and Bank of New York Mellon (Luxembourg) SA.

The consent solicitation began July 29.

The issuer, formerly Federal Grid Finance Ltd., is a special-purpose financing subsidiary of Federal Grid Co. of Unified Energy System, the Moscow-based operator and manager of Russia's unified electricity transmission grid system.
