Six Flags seeks consents for 5¼% notes to allow debt financing plans
New York, June 9 – Six Flags Entertainment Corp. announced a consent solicitation late Monday for its 5¼% senior notes due 2021.
The company is seeking to amend the note indenture to allow it to make restricted payments of up to $400 million using the proceeds from a possible future unsecured debt financing.
Holders who deliver consents will receive a fee of $7.50 per $1,000 principal amount of notes.
The solicitation ends at 5 p.m. ET on June 15.
In order to make the changes, Six Flags needs consents from holders of a majority of the notes.
