Twin River: court continues plan confirmation hearing to April 20

Charlotte, N.C., March 15 - Twin River's hearing to confirm its second amended plan of reorganization was continued to April 20 from March 16, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Rhode Island.

Continuing the hearing will enable the debtors to give a more meaningful report on the status of relevant legislative initiatives, the filing said.

Twin River, a Lincoln, R.I., casino, filed for bankruptcy on June 23, 2009. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-12418.
