Trailer Bridge to sell $80 million seven-year notes

St. Louis, Nov. 9 - Trailer Bridge Inc. announced in a Tuesday news release that it intends to sell $80 million of seven-year senior secured notes (B3).

Proceeds from the Rule 144A/Regulation S offering will be used to fund the purchase of all of the outstanding stock of Kadampanattu Corp. (K Corp.), to retire certain K. Corp and Trailer Bridge debt, and to acquire certain containers and chassis currently leased to the company and used in its operations.

No timing or syndicate names were disclosed in the news release, and no corporate officials were available late Tuesday to respond to questions from Prospect News.

The company is a Jacksonville, Fla.-based shipping company.
