Kazakhstan's Temirbank buys back $17.45 million 9% notes

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 20 - Temir Capital BV said $17.45 million of Temirbank JSC's $300 million 9% senior notes due 2011 were purchased on Dec. 30.

Following the repurchase, $282.55 million of the notes remain outstanding.

Temirbank is a financial institution based in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
