Universal Scientific buys back $100,000 euro convertible bonds

New York, March 8 - Universal Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd. said it repurchased $100,000 of its euro convertible bonds, which were issued in 2004.

Universal Scientific said it canceled the bonds it bought back.

The Nantou, Taiwan, company said $69.8 million of the securities remain outstanding.

The design and manufacturing service company is involved in computing and wireless communication.
