Manchester United to redeem 8¾%, 8 3/8% notes at 108.75, 108.375

Madison, Wis., May 23 - Manchester United plc's subsidiary, MU Finance plc, plans to redeem all £177,775,000 of its outstanding 8¾% senior secured notes due 2017 and a portion, totaling $22.09 million, of its 8 3/8% senior secured notes due 2017 on June 24, according to a notice.

The 8¾% sterling notes will be redeemed at 108.75 and the 8 3/8% notes at 108.375, along with accrued interest to the redemption date.

The company issued a redemption notice for the bonds on Thursday.

Funding for the redemption will come from a committed new facility provided by Bank of America, NA.

Bank of New York Mellon is the paying agent.
