Moody's may downgrade Telekom Slovenije

Moody's Investors Service said it placed on review for downgrade the Baa1 long-term issuer rating and senior unsecured rating of Telekom Slovenije dd.

The review was triggered by increasing concerns about the macroeconomic environment in Slovenia, Moody's said, and the indirect impact that it may have on the government's support toward Telekom Slovenije.

Concerns about Slovenian sovereign risk prompted a downgrade of Slovenia's local- and foreign-currency government bond ratings by one notch to Aa3 from Aa2, the agency said.

The sovereign ratings also remain on review for further downgrade.

The review will focus on the level of government support that is currently factored into Telekom Slovenije's ratings, the agency said.
