TCW adds Mark Gertzof as TCW Direct Lending Group managing director

Minneapolis, Sept. 17 - TCW Group announced in a press release that Mark Gertzof has joined the firm as a managing director in the TCW Direct Lending Group.

In this role, Gertzof will be involved in the origination, due diligence review, structuring and execution of new investments and will contribute to the ongoing management of portfolio companies.

He reports to Rick Miller, group managing director and head of the TCW Direct Lending Group.

Gertzof has more than 20 years of experience in structuring highly tailored debt instruments for middle-market companies, the release said. Prior to joining TCW, he co-founded a middle-market investment banking and credit advisory firm, Monroe Credit Advisors. Prior to that, he was a managing director and team leader for Merrill Lynch Capital's corporate finance leverage lending group.

TCW is a Los Angeles-based asset management firm that specializes in fixed-income, world equity and alternative markets. TCW Direct Lending Group is a senior secured lender that provides debt capital to middle-market companies for leveraged buyouts, refinancings, acquisitions, general growth, liquidity and recapitalizations.
