Seven Energy again misses coupons on 10¼% notes, 10½% notes

New York, Oct. 11 – Seven Energy International Ltd. said it will not make the coupon payments due Wednesday on its $300 million of 10¼% senior secured notes due 2021 and its $100 million of 10½% notes due 2021.

Discussions continue with Savannah Petroleum plc and the company’s lenders, including an ad hoc group of noteholders, the company said in a news release.

Seven Energy previously missed the coupon payment due on April 11 and failed to satisfy the conditions to pay interest in kind.

The Nigeria-focused energy company is based in Lagos and London.
