Vista Equity Partners reports 11.4% stake in SumTotal Systems

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 14 - A group of SumTotal Systems, Inc. investors led by Vista Equity Partners Fund III, LP used $15.23 million in available cash to purchase 3,631,105 shares in open-market transactions, it was reported in a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Of the total number of shares, 75,665 were purchased between Sept. 5 and Oct. 13 for $3.26 to $4.90 each.

The investors beneficially own 11.4% of the Mountain View, Calif.-based company.

SumTotal provides learning and business performance technologies and services.
