Sumner Regional reports $790,440 income from operations for September

Savannah, Ga., Oct. 22 - Sumner Regional Health Systems, Inc. posted $790,440 of income from operations for September on net revenue of $51,509, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.

The figures compared to a $12.49 million loss from operations for August on $8.13 million in net revenues.

Net income for September was $790,440, compared with a net loss of $12.41 million in August.

Sumner had $26.55 million of cash and cash equivalents at Sept. 30, down from $29.6 million at the end of August.

Sumner Regional, a Tennessee health care provider, filed for bankruptcy on April 30. Its Chapter 11 case number is 10-04766.
