SS&C Technologies to price $750 million 8.5-year notes on Thursday

By Paul A. Harris

Portland, Ore., March 14 – SS&C Technologies, Inc. plans to price a $750 million offering of 8.5-year senior notes in a quick-to-market Thursday trade following a late-morning conference call with investors, according to market sources.

Initial guidance has the deal coming to yield in the high 5% area, a trader said.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., BofA Merrill Lynch and Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. are joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A for life and Regulation S offering.

The notes become callable after three years at par plus 75% of the coupon.

The Windsor, Conn.-based provider of financial services and technology plans to use the proceeds to pay down bank debt.
