Buffalo, N.Y., Aug. 22 – GS Finance Corp. priced $1.46 million of 0% autocallable buffered index-linked notes due Aug. 24, 2027 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
The notes will be automatically called at par plus 9% if the index closes at or above its initial level on Aug. 17, 2023.
If the notes are not called and the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.75 times the index gain.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 25% and will lose 1% for each 1% loss beyond 25%.
