S&P rates R.I. student loan bonds AAA, A

Standard & Poor's said it assigned ratings to Rhode Island Student Loan Authority's $64 million of student loan program revenue bonds, series 2008.

An AAA rating was assigned to $60 million of senior series A bonds (AMT), and $4 million of subordinate series I bonds (AMT) were rated A.
