Republic Airways operating income declines to $14.9 million in July

Pittsburgh, Aug. 19 – Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. reported $14.9 million of operating income for July on $96.4 million in total operating revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In comparison, the company posted $15.4 million of operating income for June on $106.7 million in total operating revenue.

Net income for July was $300,000, improving from a $16.2 million June net loss.

In addition, Republic had $138 million in cash and cash equivalents as of July 31, down from $149.3 million at the end of June.

Based in Indianapolis, Republic Airways is a passenger and air freight service company. It filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 25 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York under Chapter 11 case number 16-10429.
