Reader's Digest official unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Aug. 31 - Reader's Digest Association, Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Monday by U.S. Trustee Diana G. Adams, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
The committee is comprised of Stuart Rothenberg of Bank of New York Mellon; Nicholas W. Walsh of Wilfrid Aubrey LLC of New York; Thomas M. Kenney of Bronxville, N.Y.; Dan Pevonka of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co., based in Downers Grove, Ill.; Brendan Lesch of Madison Paper Co. of Norwalk, Conn.; Ken Amann of Williams Lea, Inc. of Chicago; and Greg Hadley of New Page Corp. of Dayton, Ohio.
Reader's Digest, a Pleasantville, N.Y., publishing company, filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 24. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-23529.
