Prospector Offshore Drilling’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy case dismissed

Pittsburgh, March 27 – Prospector Offshore Drilling Sarl’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy case was dismissed Tuesday by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

As previously reported, Prospector parent Paragon Offshore Ltd. signed a tender offer agreement with Borr Drilling Ltd. Paragon said it expected to complete the Prospector bankruptcy court proceedings as a part of and in connection with the offer.

Paragon Offshore is a Houston-based provider of offshore drilling rigs. The Prospector unit filed for bankruptcy on July 20, 2017 under Chapter 11 case number 17-11572.
