Petroleum Geo-Services buys back another $3 million of convertibles

Kansas City, Kan., Jan. 11 - Petroleum Geo-Services ASA repurchased $3 million of its 2.7% convertible bonds due Dec. 3, 2012 on Wednesday, the company said in an announcement.
The bonds were repurchased at 99.25.
Following the transaction, the company owns $215.4 million of the convertibles, or 53.9% of the outstanding issue.
The company also repurchased $3 million of the bonds on Jan. 5
The issuer is a Lysaker, Norway-based provider of geophysical services to the energy industry.
