Panhandle Plains Higher Education Authority, Texas, to redeem series 2011-1 A-3 notes

Chicago, Dec. 12 – The Panhandle Plains Higher Education Authority Inc. of Texas will conditionally call its series 2011-1 A-3 student loan revenue bonds on Dec. 19, according to a notice.

The notes will be redeemed at 101.25 plus interest to the date of redemption.

The authority received the consent of holders of a majority of the bonds to amend the indenture to allow for early redemption. The effective date of the second supplemental indenture is Dec. 12.

The redemption is conditional upon the availability of sufficient funds to pay the redemption price.
