OZ Minerals holders elect not to put $105 million 5.25% convertibles

By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., March 18 - OZ Minerals Ltd. said none of the investors who hold the company's $105 million in 5.25% convertible bonds chose to exercise their April 15 put option.

The company sold the convertibles in April 2005, and the investors had the option of putting the bonds, provided they informed the company by March 15.

Accordingly, none of the convertibles will be bought back.

OZ Minerals is a Melbourne, Australia-based mining company.
