New York Life talks $400 million of 10-year secured notes at Treasuries plus 87.5 bps area

Tupelo, Miss., Aug. 4 – New York Life Global Funding intends to price a $400 million offering of 10-year senior secured notes (Aaa/AA+/AAA) on Tuesday, according to a market source.

Initial price talk is in the Treasuries plus 87.5 basis points area.

BofA Securities, Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

New York Life Global is a unit of New York-based mutual insurance company New York Life Insurance Co.
